Profile
| I have loved drawing and painting ever since I was a child, and art has always been a part of my life through the years.
I received my BA in Art Therapy from the College of New Jersey. Painting has always been my favorite, although I was involved with sculpture, pottery, and printmaking. Presently I work with mixed media and acrylic. I feel most comfortable with acrylic as my medium because it serves my method of painting the best. Most of the time I do not plan the subject, or the theme, but I let the colors guide me. I do not choose my colors intentionally, but they evolve and blend until I feel satisfied. Images in my mind and colors that emerge connect on the surface of the canvas with geometric and organic lines and shapes dominating. I hope that the intensity of the colors, and intriguing lines and shapes draw your eye in, and release your imagination. |
