| Hi, I am Elma Orr.
All my creative works are registered at NFATR - National Fine Art Title Registry. My paintings are one of a kind original. I'll provide Certificates of Authenticity for all my registered arts. That document shows the art details and can be used for insurance. My home base of artworks display is Grenada, Mississippi. You can find them at Orleans Bistro, at the Economic Development Department (EDD) and at the Water Department, all in Downtown Grenada. I have been also represented by Galleries such as Gallery Point Leflore and Beard & Riser both in Greenwood, MS, Old Round Table Restaurant in Oxford, MS, Bozart Gallery in Water Valley, MS. My artworks have been sold to collectors in USA, Brazil, France and Saudi Arabia. I have been featured several times in the local newspaper and by local magazines. I am a self-taught artist and my art features my feelings of the moment. My mediums are oil and or acrylics. My favorite style is impressionist. During the process of creation, I usually go through under painting, adding many layers to bring beauty and harmony into the chaos. It's essential to show something dynamic, beautiful and inviting to the viewers, so they can find a personal meaning in the painting and relate to it in their own. Born in Brazil in 1961, I got a Bachelor in Economics and Post Graduation in International Economics, with a solid 20 years long background working for multinational Companies. As an executive, I had to find a way to balance stress. That ultimately made me dive again into painting. Since that, Art has truly been a deep passion in my heart. I have been true to myself and I want to share that joy with you. |
