| I'm a proud member of Sapotaweyak Cree Nation (translation- a river runs through it). I'm a self-taught artist. I currently reside in Brandon, Manitoba, in central Canada. As I’ve matured as an artist I’ve found myself gravitating towards a more Abstract style of creative painting.I’m currently creating Abstract Expressionism that incorporates elements of Traditional Native American Indian Art.I have explored painting Abstract Art, Wildlife Art, Field Color,Landscape Art and Traditional Native Art paintings.I also enjoy creating Abstract Art that incorporates with Traditional American Indian First Nations Art.

- Description: BLUE GARDEN “ALL LIVING THINGS ARE BORN THROUGH MOTHER EARTH” All things living have a symbiotic interdependence and are connected biologically and spiritually. There is a benefit to this cooperation and this mutualism is critical to the survival of life. This symbiosis can be fragile. Our influence on one living thing will affect all other living things that have interdependence on it. This fragile “Interconnectiveness” is needed for life to function properly in both a spiritual and physical manner.

- Description: T?ašú?ke Witkó - CRAZY HORSE - SYNOPSIS Painted in a semi-abstract style, I wanted to convey the family oriented side of the man known as Crazy Horse. The two broaches, hanging inside his tepee, represent his marriage. His horse is returning alone for the last time. Crazy horse held a prestigious place in native history, historically and spiritually. His life as a family man is often overlooked and I think all people, especially those who have worked in the military, can relate to how he should be viewed. Not just as this brave warrior but as man with family and a concerned leader of his community. I wanted to capture the essence of not only his character but to visually express his visionary side.
