- Reflections
- Description: Oil on Canvas; 40"x30"; A single fallen leaf floats over the tranquil water of the Old Ausable River Channel revealing that the seemingly upside-down forest is merely a reflection of its autumn splendour. Traditional oil painting technique was used in combination with a primary-colour pallet.
- Autumn Tango
- Description: Oil on Board; 35"x42"; Autumn Tango is a vibrant fall-time depiction of two maple trees from the vantage of looking upward. Brush strokes are flowing and lyrical while the tree trunk is painted using a pallet knife for a realistic bark-like texture. The artist uses a primary color pallet to create vivid colour and contrast.
- Gentle Waves
- Description: Oil on Canvas; 24"x30"; Gentle Waves was inspired by a pristine shoreline on an annual family canoe trip. A traditional oil painting technique using flowing strokes and primary colours captures the moment of paddling into shore when the lapping waves mingled with the glass-like reflection at the water’s edge.
