| Mitch Labuda is a photographer, living in Toledo, Ohio and practices the craft with an eye to the Pictorialist works.
He first picked up a camera, a Kodak Brownie 127 film format, while in high school. Shooting with film, he moved from 35MM to medium format and then onto large format. After some years away from the craft, he returned to make photos once more with digital media. An avid fan of Camera Work, the publication by Alfred Stieglitz, Labuda draws inspiration from the works of the artists of the period. Labuda also makes photographs of minimalistic themes and more modern works. |
