| I like to think of my work as being vibrant, diverse and as described by a fellow artist, moody. I am happy working with various different mediums including pencils, oils, pastels and watercolour. My art is mainly self taught but I undertook some formal training at the London Guildhall University and spent most of my career as a graphic designer to the record industry.
In January 2009 I received a commended certificate for one of my paintings and earlier this year the paintings ‘Majestic’ was voted joint second place in the public vote, at the South Holland Open arts exhibition. I have also been working on a collection of Black Heroes portraits which has been shown in London, Peterborough and Cambridge. A viewer at a recent exhibition thought that it was a collective of artists showing, because of the diversity of my work. |
