| The wondrous shapes of nature - strong, graceful, sensual, inspirational - surround us in every aspect of our landscape and in every creature who inhabits it. Their similarities speak to me of relationships, love and the spiritual connection between all living things. I find a special inspiration in the comparison of a flower and a human body, each a gift of God in varying shapes and hues, a work of art to be cherished. As two beautiful creations, unadorned, come together on my canvas, basking in the light and love that all of nature’s shapes need to flourish, I am made more aware of the precious balance of our earth that has been entrusted to our care. Through the creation of each piece in my digital collage series I find a unique and beautiful experience that I wish to share. |
