- Description: Giclee on Canvas 18" x 24" $425 While house sitting in Palo Alto, the town I grew up in, I was struck by the amazing trees, particularly by the Live Oaks, some of them three hundred years old and spanning over whole front yards. In the winter they shed their leaves, baring the gnarled, twisting branches against the cerulean sky. Though I am fond of them all, several I fell in love with and gave them secret names. This painting is of the branches of a particular tree in front of the former childhood home of a dear friend of mine.
