- Wall of wishes
- Author: Galina Manikova
- Description: Series of portraits of people from different countries with their wishes written on their portraits are transferred manually to cotton by old photographic techniques such as cyanotype and van dyke. A video of different faces with their wishes in different languages is projected on panels of silk hanging in several layers. Visitors to the exhibition can write their wishes on small notes and place them in one of the silk panels. These notes will later be scanned and put out on a web site dedicated to this project: www.wailingwall.no. At the three bottom line of the stones on the wall, one can see the earlier exhibitions around the world by entering and rolling the marker on the right all the way down to the bottom.
