- Biggs Jct 1
- Author: Mike Wonser
- Description: In our time of rapid and constant change in a busy, noisy and demanding existence, a concern I've held to is that as we strive for 'modernization', we are distancing ourselves from our traditions, our foundations and our private, intimate selves. In my more than a four decade odyssey with a camera, I have found myself recording vignettes of our environment that show the passing of time, the decaying or overlooked elements that illustrate pride of the past that have a story to tell. My hope is that my images encourage people to slow down and listen to the many stories that surround us and just maybe, get to know our inner-selves.
