- Description: The sun represents God or fulfillment. It is the destination toward which many of us are reaching. The plant represents a person's life. The leaves are reaching toward the sun, representing emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth. The intertwined leaves indicate integration -- the weaving together of the various aspects of a person's life and psyche. The two plants represent duality: the emotional-intuitive and logical-intellectual halves of a person. Maturity brings the two halves together as equals. The flowers represent the by-product of growth the fruit of maturity, which is a well-developed character that can be enjoyed by others. The circular root structure represents wholeness and completeness. It is also a person's center. The intertwined root within the circle denotes the sacred and mysterious complexity that makes us unique. The roots represent the interior and hidden life of a person, whereas the leaves represent the exterior and public life of a person. The roots extend out into the soil indicating depth of character and inner strength.
