For many years, while commuting from Long Island to Manhattan I would admire one of the most fascinating landscapes: Unifying the headstones of an Old World (European cemetery in Queens) with the beautiful Manhattan skyscrapers (New World) in the distance. The massive ancient headstones paired with shiny skyscrapers in the distance illustrate the perfect mix of harmony and the chaos that makes up a city. The shortest history of this fascinated country.
