CALIFORNIA DREAM

24x36 Original oil by Hollis Fortune done on gallery wrap canvas, 1.5" deep with scene continuing around sides.

This is how I picture  coastal California, the blues of the ocean and the golden  sand. I used metallic gold in this which causes the hue to change with the light, giving a luminescent appearance.

There is a pattern of fracture lines overall with the gold as an under painting.
