| I am a photographer living in Southern California. Photography has been a fascination with me since I was a child. There is something utterly fascinating to me about coming upon a scene or situation that may only exist very briefly and freezing that moment forever. I have done many art shows over the years including the annual "Art-A-Fair" in Laguna Beach, California. I shoot primarily in California, desert, coast, and mountain areas. - Old Pioneer Cemetery
- Description: A old Pioneer cemetery in the mountain town of Julian, Ca.
- Lounge Chair
- Description: A lounge chair on the shore at the Salton Sea in Southern California.
- Abandoned Chair
- Description: A photo that won me a blue ribbon at the Orange County Fair in 2010. Taken in the Antelope Valley in the Southern California desert in Spring. For some reason this field was used to toss old furniture etc.
- Beach Busses
- Description: I visited a car show in Huntington Beach, California in 2004 and found these 3 VW Busses parked together. I loved the color combination with the blue sky and palm trees. I had to be patient to get a clear shot as there were many people walking around.
- A Life Devoted to God
- Description: In the Imperial Valley in Southern California is a place called Salvation Mountain. It was started by a man named Leonard Knight. He felt it was his destiny to create a sort of shrine to God. He has spent almost 30 years of his life and over 100,000 gallons of paint in the process.
- Car and Trailer
- Description: An old car and trailer parked in a rural desert town.
- Life in the Desert
- Description: A scene in the town of Trona, California. A hood of a car, a tire and a door in the background leaning against the wall. I wondered how they ended up like this?
- Desert House
- Description: An old Lincoln Continental in front of what appeared to be an abandoned house if not for the Satellite dish. I thought this made the photo quite interesting.
- Chevy Nova
- Description: An old Chevy Nova in the desert. I really liked the cactus along with the bicycle without a seat in the background.
- Sierra Road
- Description: Taken in the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine, Ca. The Eastern Sierras with stormy skies and Mt Whitney visible far off in the distance. Mt Whitney is the tallest mountain in the 48 lower states at 14,494 feet.
- Above the Clouds
- Description: Looking down at the clouds at sunrise from the Ortega Highway in Southern California.
- Oregon Bridge
- Description: A bridge in Oregon that leads to a residence. I kept thinking how spooky it must be to cross the bridge over the river at night when it`s raining or icy.
